WHY SPEND ALL THAT TIME EDITING?

On hot, sunny days like today I am still often found in a nearly completely dark room editing away images for my Clients. Yes it means I constantly look pasty all year round (I'm hoping I'll age gorgeously because of this!!) but it's a trade off I'm will to take to make sure that my 85% perfect images come up to the 100% that my Clients are looking for.

You may be wondering why it's worth spending all that time perfecting each and every image. After all, isn't the goal of photography to capture the moment as it is? While that may be true in some cases, when it comes to headshots, the editing process can make a world of difference in the final product.
