NATIONAL DOG DAY
It has been rubbish weather this year and with my 40 Over 40 Project in full swing, I haven't had many opportunities to take pics of man's best friend these past few months so maybe some of you don't know that I photograph dogs too!
National Dog Day holds a special place in my heart. It is a day where we can celebrate the love and companionship that dogs bring into our lives, as well as the joy and happiness they bring to us every day with their crazy personalities - both big and small!
Throughout my career, I have been lucky enough to photograph countless dogs, each with their own unique qualities and quirks. From the energetic pups who can't sit still for a moment to the wise old dogs who have seen it all, I have loved every minute of capturing their essence through my lens.
But perhaps the most special dogs I have had the pleasure of photographing are my own. My furry companions who are always by my side, ready to pose for a photo or simply cuddle up next to me on the sofa. They are my constant source of inspiration and joy, and I am grateful every day for their unconditional love and loyalty.
On National Dog Day, I can't help but reflect on all the amazing dogs I have had the pleasure of meeting and photographing. Each one has left a paw print on my heart, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to document their beauty and spirit through my photography.
So here's to all the dogs out there, both those I have photographed and those yet to come. Thank you for being our loyal companions, our furry friends, and our constant source of love and joy. Happy National Dog Day!
P.S. This is Maple and she even looks gorgeous in the rain, though maybe I'm slightly biased
