Atelier Creative is a portrait studio based in Norwich, Norfolk. We specialise in portraiture, working locally, nationally and internationally and we can’t wait to provide you with a custom luxury portrait experience unlike any other.

We will discuss your needs and thoughts around how you'd like to be photographed and create a session tailored specifically to you and your vision.

This can be inside in our studio space or on location in some of the most beautiful countryside, coastal settings or even gorgeous urban locations that surround Norfolk.

This is for you to learn more about the process. But, more importantly, for us to get to know you and understand the vision you have for your session.

INITIAL CONSULTATION

WARDROBE STYLING

As part of your consultation we’ll talk about you and help you choose the outfits from your wardrobe that will show you best at your portrait photography session.

HAIR STYLING

The day of your photoshoot, you simply show up. One of our hair stylists will give shape and add volume to your beautiful tresses.

Whether you decide to come with some makeup on or with a fresh face, our professional makeup artists will ensure your makeup is photo-ready. We’ll even add some eyelashes as well.

MAKE-UP APPLICATION

It is Claire’s job to find your best angles and guide you through a series of expressions until she captures your personality. She wants to tell your story through beautiful photos that you will gladly share all over your social media and gift to family members.

GUIDED PHOTOSHOOT

You’ll be with Claire for a while and that allows for several changes. Claire has found over the years that there is something liberating about putting on a different outfit that allows your confidence to come through.

MULTIPLE OUTFITS

While the magic already happened during your photoshoot, every image is retouched as if it was going on a magazine. Rest assured that every little detail will be taken care of.

PROFESSIONAL RETOUCH

Claire will invite you back to the studio to show you your retouched images. You will be able to select the images you want to take home, whether in a custom folio box or for a piece of wall art.

IMAGE REVEAL

DIGITAL FILES & PRINTS

We believe in the power of a print but also that people want imagery on their personal devices. You can purchase either prints & digitals and save money if you want both.

We create imagery by making each of our clients not just look, but feel unapologetically beautiful just as they are. So often we hear that "I hate having my picture taken." or, "I'm just not photogenic. I look terrible in pictures." Lucky for you, Norfolk photographer Claire Howes is highly skilled in posing and direction. It is my job to coach you from pose to pose to ensure that the only thing that shines through in your pictures is you and your personality. Remember, there is no such thing as being photogenic.

I promise to take the best photograph that you’ve ever seen of yourself.
