I love taking portraits. Something timeless that will be appreciated for years to come - there's no better gift in my opinion. However, it's become very common to just 'get the digitals'. I'm not going to lie, I've done it myself with every intention to get my images printed personally - well I do have a relationship with the greatest print house going and I know my products are superior to the ones on offer most of the time. I've done this with my wedding photos and the newborn shots I had taken of my girls...

Where are they - still on the computer! I'm guilty of it along with everyone else. You never get around to it, you have the best intentions but life gets in the way.

Well, I don't let that happen! In fact, I've made it my personal mission to make sure that you print your work. It's half of the process. I create the images in camera, retouch them through editing software and then calibrate them for the print house so they have the optimum settings baked into them to suit the type of product the image with be printed on before sending them off to the lab to be produced. Most people didn't even know that the file must suit the type of product it will be printed on - I produce a different file for say fine art paper and canvas.

Now, that doesn't mean I don't offer digitals (some people just like a digital) but they are included in the price. So when you buy and image from me, the cost covers the work, printing of the work on the product you desire and the corresponding high resolution digital images.

So my mission for the rest of the year? To get my images printed before the files degrade - oh yes! That's a thing that people don't realise either!

Did you know that digital files degrade?

As always, please message me with any questions or just to say hi! I'm always here to help!
