sometimes it’s all about rest

I've had a lot on my plate recently and I have loved every minute of it but I was definitely getting frayed around the edges!

This past week, I actually took some downtime. It was my girls 4th Birthday party at the weekend and my Mum was visiting us so I took four days off to spend some time with everyone. We went everywhere - dinosaur park, strawberry picking, build-a-bear, Blickling, trampolining. Who knew you could do so much in four days?!

I'm thoroughly shattered now, but emotionally my heart is so full! Yes, I needed those four days to get on top of my workload post-Italy, BUT emotionally I (and them!) have benefitted so much from me stepping away from my business and reconnecting.

In fact, I would say since I picked things back up again this weekend, I've actually been more productive than I thought I would be! Hurrah!

This week it's all about getting on with editing the shoots I took before I went to Italy and delivering them to some fantastic clients as well as a catch up with my product suppliers - can't wait! Fab week in store!

Do you get enough downtime?

As always, please message me with any questions or just to say hi! I'm always here to help!
