mood boards

When working with a Client to create their perfect Personal Branding portrait session, I like to create a mood board for them. This allows us to really work out what they want to achieve, how we can structure our session to get the most out of it and how it will fit in with their brand as a whole.

I find that having a visual representation is so important, especially being a photographer! 'A picture paints 1000 words' as the saying goes and it allows both me and my Client to really hone down what we are trying to achieve.

I use the mood board to look at props, backgrounds, colouring, styling, everything necessary to get the imagery we really want. I want to help elevate your brand, show you in your best light within your business and ultimately make you more money. Something as simple as organising your imagery makes you accessible to a much larger audience and makes people take note. If you imagery is professional, they see that as a reflection of you.

Have you thought about creating a mood board for your own Personal Branding session? What would be on it?

As always, drop me a message to say hi or ask me anything! Plus follow #ateliercreative for more photography hints and tips.
