Happy Summer Solstice! The day that I love and dread in equal measure is upon us... I love it because I love the long days with the sun still out late into the evening, but at the same time, I know that from tomorrow the nights are going to be drawing in and it always happens quicker than I anticipate it will.

It got me to thinking that, maybe my clients feel the same with photography. They want to come in an experience their own custom portrait session, but equally are overwhelmed by the idea of doing something different to what they are used to and stepping out of their comfort zone.

That is the beauty of letting me photograph you. I completely get it. I've felt it myself and I don't want anyone to ever feel overwhelmed by the experience. I guide you through it and tailor your session just to you.

Take Jess. She didn't want anything to girly - no floaty tulle robes, puffy ball gowns. She's sleek in what she wears and has a variety of blazers and stylish hats. So I said 'bring them!'. We planned a session that allowed her personality and style to shine through. This mustard hat and blazer couldn't have paired any better with my lovely sunny backdrop and this combination really makes her eyes pop! I can't wait for her to see the rest of the images!!
