round up of 2022

Well, I've taken some time out of my Christmas Holidays to reflect on 2022 and it's brought more than a little tear to my eye.

I've always wanted to step out of the shadows and be more creative. I'd spent my whole life around creative individuals, bee drawn to them, learnt from them, but never thought that I had it in me. Well, I was wrong! This year I have had so many opportunities to step into the light and create beautiful artwork for my clients so thank you all for trusting me with your most precious memories!

I've photographed, horses, dogs, cats, a rat, lots of women, maternity, boudoir, location shoots in Venice, worked with clients to achieve their personal branding wishes and marketing content, lots of headshots, a wedding, Product shots, Christmas imagery and a few personal projects along the way too. I have won several awards and also achieved my Licentiate Qualification with the MPA.

Not only that, I had made some incredible life-long friends within the photographic industry and a bunch of them I got to get fairly nude and jump around in a fountain with at the foot of the Dolomites!

I've heard some of my idols speak in person and gained valuable advice from them first hand, I've been mentored by some incredible practitioners and had my work critiqued and complimented by some of the worlds best.

On top of that, I set-up a home studio, saw my girls start at school as well as celebrating another year around the sun with my Husband. If that's what 2022 held, bring on 2023!

In fact, I'm so excited about 2023 that I can't wait to start! I have my 40 Over 40 Project with lots of enquiries coming in all the time and I start my 12:12 Self-Portraiture journey tomorrow and planning an exhibition. Also some incredible Norwich companies have contacted me for headshots, more boudoir sessions are already booked in my calendar and even a location shoot in a Castle in Kent. I continue to push myself for my Clients and will be off to London, Birmingham, Paris and maybe even Italy again to work with some other photographic geniuses!

Lastly, and by no means least, I will be supporting some incredible charities that are very dear to my heart. More about these at a later date, but they all mean the world to me so to be able to support them is a dream come true for me.
