master photographer at work
I may have been quiet for a last week, but I certainly have not been at rest - my word it's been crazy!
I went to The Photography Show and, upon return home, found out that I have passed my Licentiate Qualification with the Master Photographers Association.
This mean I produced an exhibition (and supporting documents) of 20 images for a panel of five Master Judges in the area of Female Portraiture. They look at the brief, my methods, my camera settings, my retouching and my over panel and how it works together to work out whether I am worthy of being classed as a Master Photographer.
Well, I passed! Not only that, I passed with a very high mark, which is fantastic! This now means I'm certified, award-winning and accredited! A triple threat, eh?!
Whether you go with me, or another photographer, please make sure that they are certified and have all the necessary insurances, risk assessments and first aid training so that you are safe in their hands. Also, accreditation means they are seen as being above the rest in their field - why pay lots of money to a photographer when you could create the same yourself?! AND, if you fancy it, award-winning is the cherry on the top.
I have attached my panel above so you can see all the work I was accredited for. I hope you like them. If you want to see more of my For You Portrait Session work please head over to find out more.
Did you even realise that the best photographers are accredited? I’m very proud to now call myself a Master Photographer and be recognised and recommended by such an incredible institution.
As always, please message me with any questions or just to say hi! I'm always here to help!
